This is Kerbl's standard model hoof grinding disc.

This disc incorporates small tungsten-carbide chips fixed onto the face of a rigid plate. The tungsten provides excellent cutting and removal of very hard hoof horn without building up heat.  A rubber vibration damper on the back reduces vibration when cutting.

Less aggressive than the "professional" blade cutting discs but still highly effective and safer for the less experienced user
